We are looking for you as IT Support Engineer for DDI Services at our company headquarters in Dresden or at the location in Jena. The team is responsible for the technical support of internal and external customers at 2nd level with a focus on the areas: DNS, DHCP and IPAM (based on Infoblox).

WHAT TASKS YOU EXPECT

  • Processing incidents and change requests in compliance with the applicable SLAs (remote support)
  • Maintenance and care of all internal and external DNS zones
  • Contact person for DDI-related questions from the customer (QIP, Infoblox)
  • Maintenance of the IPAM databases, both internally and on the customer side
  • Participation in on-call services

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Completed training as IT specialist for system integration/ networking or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience in 2nd level support
  • Good knowledge of troubleshooting and troubleshooting of the protocols DNS, DHCP and IPAM based on the manufacturer Infoblox
  • Sound experience in monitoring active network components
  • Experience in dealing with ticket and documentation systems
  • Fluent German and good knowledge of English
